TRIP DESCRIPTION:            

Exploring the High Atlas Valleys guided by a local guide is the rightful decision to make sure you do not miss insights on the Berber culture and traditions as well as the most attractive scenic sites. During a full day tour from Marrakech, this trip will take you to the most touristic sites of the High Atlas including the Valleys of ASNI, SIDI FARES, OUKEIMDEN and OURIKA. The region features some of the amazing picturesque landscapes around the High Atlas Mountains with options to hike, drive, or mule ride on route. This trip offers flexibility to discover the region the way you desire around nature and mountains.

ITINERARY:                          

After morning pickup from your hotel / riad in Marrakech, you will travel in a comfortable and air-conditioned vehicle with an experienced English-speaking guide through the majestic Atlas Mountains.

The ride from Marrakech will take you to the south passing by Lalla Takerkoust through Berber villages and straight into the Atlas Mountains.

The day includes some long drives but you’ll get to see the stunning scenery of outer Marrakech and the glory of the Atlas Mountains as you head upwards. The views are stunning and the glimpse of mountain communities is very interesting. You’ll stop at an Argan oil producer to witness the extracting and the local original products.

The ride includes various stops on the road to enjoy the landscapes and take pictures before we reach Ourika and have lunch by the river. This place is famous by the fresh air and the river flow with different waterfalls which make this destination an escape from the hustle of Marrakech.

You can choose between a hike to the waterfalls or enjoy the views and have drink in one of the riverside cafes.

Continue to the next destination, the Oukaimden Valley (ski resort near Toubkal Mountain) and Sidi Fares Valley through traditional Berber villages, before heading to the last destination, the Asni Valley, famous by its fruit trees (apples, walnuts, almonds, peaches).

Have your camera ready to take a slice from this wonderful piece of earth with you before we head back to Marrakech and drop you off to your accommodation or leave you in the medina according to your preference.
